School bonds
It's getting dicey out there between those who support measures S and W and those who don't. Proponents suggest that the bonds would help fund updating aging buildings and provide dedicated art & culture learning spaces for children. Opponents argue that the taxes are unfair and anti-housing and make no exceptions for seniors or those in need.
The most compelling fight is between those who support Measure S and those against the measure. One Redwood City School District board of trustee filed an FPPC complaint against an opponent of the measure, alleging that the opponent had violated California law by not disclaiming who paid for the flyer that the trustee found taped to his door. More on that later.
