Hey Redwood City!
Last week was quite a busy one. Within 24 hours of each other, we saw two public officials step down: one from council and the other from running from state office. And each time, Leah and I snapped into action. When we learned Mr. Smith was exiting his position in the city, not only did we publish his guest column, but we spoke with him for a news story and learned how the city planned on replacing him. And the moment we discovered that Mrs. Hale had left the race for State Assembly, we asked why? And we read her Twitter thread here. So we wrote a story on that, too.
In the past few weeks, we've covered housing, public safety, county news, city government, and much more. We've touched on issues related to climate change and pay equity. But what's been on your mind lately? What would you like to know more about? We want to know!
